Cromwell House, Stow Hill

Photo reference number: 71

This picturesque old dwelling-house with garden is said to have been the abode of Cromwell during his brief stay in the town after it had been suurendered to the Parliamentary Force. The Tredegar Hall now stands on the site.

The Majestic Ballroom later replaced the Tredegar Hall.
