"THE NEW ESTATE OFFICES which have been erected by Messrs. A. S. Morgan & Co., for the RIGHT HON. LORD TREDEGAR, are constructed with local stone and brick walling, faced with Chilmark stone from the Chilmark Quarries near Salisbury, with Chilmark dressings. The buildings are arranged in 4 floors including Basement, which comprises Strong Room, Storage Rooms, &c. The Ground Floor is arranged in 2 divisions, separated by the Central Corridor, one side having the rooms reserved for His Lordship's private use and the Agent's chief room; the other side being fitted up in a similar manner to a bank, and is occupied by the Cashiers and their Clerks. The floor over, generally des?cribed as the First Floor, is divided in a similar manner, one division being occupied by the Architect's department, the other division being reserved for special departments?
